Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announced that Indus Community Services has been accredited for a period of three years for the following program(s):

  • Adult Day Services
  • Home and Community Services
  • Governance Standards Applied

Indus Community Services was praised for many things and the first strength listed was: The leadership and staff members demonstrate commitment, passion, dedication, compassion, enthusiasm, and skill in meeting the complex and varied needs of all the clients. Professional commitment is found throughout the organization. The management and staff members across disciplines demonstrate competency and a knowledge base that allows the programs to continue to grow and strengthen the interdisciplinary approach to care.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the  organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three Year  Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

A big thank you to all staff, the Board, and the dedicated volunteers for their immense support during the accreditation process.
